I received a bunch of emails last week asking me to show examples of workouts I like to do. These are just a few of my favorite moves which target glutes, legs, and abdominals. They are not difficult. Again, I love to emphasize the point that you do not need to make your workout moves complicated for them to work, and for you to feel a burn. The most important thing is that you get out there and move! Try not to rest more than a few seconds in between, you want to get the most out of these high and low impact moves.
Walking side plank: Love to do this one forwards and backwards! Just don't forget to change sides to keep it even!
Jump squats - all time favorite move for cardio and glute burn combined. What else could be better?
Explosive lunges - Just like a lunge only actually jumping :)
Crab walk - I'm not so proud of how low I got in this video. Also make sure your weight is as far back in your heels as you can, not to put pressure on your knees. Once again, change direction so that your lead food changes thus working both sides equally.
Squat with Ab twist - Another favorite. Can't get enough squats! Combining these with alternating oblique abdominal twists is a great way to work in a core move at the same time!
